Inschool.me is committed to protecting the privacy of students, parents, and schools.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
1. Who Can Use Inschool.me
Students may only use Inschool.me with a parent/guardian-created account.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for setting up accounts and monitoring use.
Schools/Districts may choose to adopt Inschool.me as a communication tool, but student access is always controlled by parents.
2. What Information We Collect
Login credentials: Email and password used to access accounts.
Chat messages: Only between parent and student.
Parent dashboard activity: Settings, reminders, or optional parent ads.
We do not collect grades, test scores, or sensitive educational records (so FERPA does not apply).
3. How We Use Information
To allow secure parent–student communication.
To maintain account security and provide support.
To show sponsored content (ads) only to parents (never to students).
To improve the service and user experience.
4. What We Do Not Do
❌ No ads, tracking, or promotions on the student side.
❌ No sale of personal data to third parties.
❌ No sharing of student messages outside the parent–student chat.
5. How We Protect Data
Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all communication.
Secure storage of account data using industry best practices.
Limited access: only parents/guardians and authorized developers can manage accounts.
Regular security reviews and updates.
6. Parent Rights
Parents/Guardians may:
Request a copy of their child’s data.
Request deletion of their child’s account and messages at any time.
Withdraw consent for their child to use Inschool.me.

Inschool.me is committed to protecting children’s privacy. Federal law (COPPA) requires parental consent before collecting personal information from children under 13.
Key points:
Parents/Guardians must create the student’s account. Students cannot sign up on their own.
Information collected is limited to login credentials and chat messages between parent and student.
No ads, tracking, or data sales on the student side.
Parents may see ads, but this is shown only in the parent dashboard and never uses student data.
No information is shared or sold to third parties.
Parents may request deletion of their child’s account and messages at any time.
